Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 October 2026. Doc Writer Lab is a browser-based online service, not downloadable desktop software. The website does not distribute a desktop application, software installer, browser extension or plug-in. Files downloaded after using a tool are your resulting PDF or document outputs, not software installers. This policy explains the privacy considerations for using Doc Writer Lab and its online document tools.

Files you select

The supported PDF tools are designed to process files in your browser on your device. The website does not intentionally upload your selected document to a Doc Writer Lab file-processing server. Keep the original file and check the output before relying on it. Features may behave differently depending on the tool and your browser.

Do not use a public or shared device for sensitive documents unless you trust that device. Other software, browser extensions, malware, or people with access to your device may be able to access files stored on it.

Information the website may receive

When you visit a website, your browser and hosting provider may process standard technical information needed to deliver pages and protect service reliability, such as request details, device/browser information, and approximate network information. We do not ask you to create an account to use the available tools.

The site may be updated to use analytics or other measurement services in the future. If these are enabled, this policy should be updated to explain the services and their data practices. Do not assume that a website visit is completely untracked by hosting or third-party infrastructure.

Third-party resources

The website may load third-party resources required for functionality or presentation, including JavaScript libraries delivered by cdnjs and fonts delivered by Google Fonts. Those providers may receive technical request information when your browser requests their resources. Their own privacy policies and terms govern their services.

Advertising, cookies and local storage

The website may display advertising from third-party providers, such as Google AdSense, if advertising is enabled. When ads are served, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to store or access information on your browser, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, or personalise ads where permitted by your settings and local law. The use of these technologies depends on which advertising services are active and the applicable consent requirements.

For information about how Google uses information on partner sites, visit How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can review or change ad personalisation settings at Google Ads Settings. Your browser can also manage cookies and site data. Blocking scripts or storage may affect tool functionality.

Some site preferences or browser features may use browser storage. Third-party providers have their own privacy policies and retention practices.

Children and sensitive information

Doc Writer Lab is a general-purpose document utility and is not designed to collect sensitive personal information. Do not submit private documents, passwords, or personal information to public issue trackers or other public channels when asking for help.

Security and retention

Browser-based processing can reduce the need to transmit documents to a processing server, but no website or device can guarantee absolute security. Keep your device and browser updated and store important files safely. Any technical logs handled by hosting or third-party providers are subject to their retention practices.

Policy updates and contact

This policy may change as features or third-party services change. The latest update date will be shown at the top. For questions or bug reports, visit the GitHub issue tracker; do not post private documents or sensitive information there.
